"Journey to the Cross" will be our first concert in five years.  We are excited to be performing new pieces not normally sung during Mass that will take the audience through each of the Gospels of Lent.  The performance will be of a reflective and meditative nature in keeping with the Lenten spirit, but still uplifting and ispirational.

 

Each piece will relate directly to the Gospel readings beginning with Ash Wednesday and going through the crucifixion of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  The production will incorporate narration, solos, duets, and will be enhanced not only by our very talented parish pianists and guitarists, but also by a string trio and flutist, all of whom are accomplished professional musicians.

 

All proceeds will go to the Immaculate Conception Conference of the St. Vinent de Paul Society.

 

Our choir has been working very hard to prepare for this concert, and along with the wonderful volunteers of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, we hope to make this a huge success in order to help our brothers and sisters in need.
